Due to lack of time (well, I’m lazy too), some features have been incorportated to the software but not documented or linked to the application’s GUI properly. This is why I explain the following tricks:

Very nice program, I like it.
But could you take a look at this feed (http://blue.cardplace.com/rss2.xml) and tell me if there is a problem with the feed or with infoscape, because each time infoscape checks the feed, it adds all the items to buffered news queue.
Thanks

Hi Hagar,
thanks for your interest on my program. I had a look on the feed you point me to and I realized two facts:
1. No browser can appropiately parse it (I checked with IE7 and Firefox 1.5), so don’t expect infoscape to solve the problem
2. The feed has a HUGE (>2000)number of entries, and infoscape only stores hashes for latest 256 items contained on every feed in a circular buffer. When a feed has more than 256 entries, the entries go out of the buffer as they enter and any “memory” of previously displayed things is lost. Sorry.

Thanks, I’ll try to convince the author of the feed to make it smaller
and to remove the ‘ characters (or any other illegal charachters).
